Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and merchandise to residential and commercial locations across Fort Worth
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Load and unload goods securely while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Fort Worth streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
