Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Omaha metro area with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, handling inquiries and providing exceptional service.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle before and after each shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Update delivery status in the company’s tracking system using a smartphone or handheld device.
- Handle returns and damaged goods according to company protocols.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all assigned stops are completed within the scheduled timeframe.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and logging.
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned depot.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
