Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload packages using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks to ensure items arrive undamaged.
- Drive commercial delivery vehicles to designated addresses throughout the Minneapolis metro area and surrounding suburbs.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital or physical signatures from recipients.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, ensuring the truck is ready for the next route.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices or company apps.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain professional in all interactions.
- Physically capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
