Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers and designated drop-off points.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages, maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after routes.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Handle paperwork and digital logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50-70 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
