Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers on time and in the correct condition.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are secure, organized, and accounted for during transit.
- Practice excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally and handling inquiries courteously.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and document mileage accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Utilize handheld delivery management systems to track packages and update status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License (or equivalent commercial license depending on vehicle type).
- A clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information and navigating GPS systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for liability insurance purposes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
