Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial destinations throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations while navigating busy city streets.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience and handling returns efficiently.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to update delivery status and communicate with dispatch.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety before and after shifts.
- Manage time effectively to ensure multiple deliveries are completed within the designated timeframe.
Qualifications
- A valid state-issued driver’s license (Class C or higher).
- A clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for route navigation and communication.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
