Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe, courteous, and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is clean and in good working order.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from the delivery truck using handtrucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring accurate deliveries and resolving any issues on the spot.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel records as required by company policy.
- Route Adherence: Follow assigned routes efficiently to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred; valid state driver's license required.
- Record: Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs in the past 3-5 years.
- Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Experience: No prior logistics experience required; we value attitude and work ethic over experience.
- Availability: Flexible availability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English.
