Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or merchandise to customers within designated Long Beach routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and basic mechanical functionality
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and resolve delivery issues
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at distribution hub
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year licensed)
- Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles (training provided)
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to and from our Long Beach facility
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Prior delivery or customer service experience preferred but not required
