Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in El Paso, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service to every customer; handle package inquiries and returns with a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load Management: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Route Planning: Follow designated routes and GPS instructions to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) within the last 3-5 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Technology: Proficient in using smartphones for navigation and delivery apps.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business demands.
