Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Fresno County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve any delivery issues promptly
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Handle fragile, temperature-sensitive, and oversized packages with appropriate care
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with reliable references
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs with packages
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficient with smartphone apps and GPS navigation technology
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
