Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, retail, or package orders to customers within designated Chicago neighborhoods
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle and ensure temperature-sensitive items are properly handled
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve any delivery-related issues
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and payment processing
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable vehicle in good condition or ability to use company-provided vehicle
- Minimum 1 year delivery or customer service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone with GPS capability and reliable internet access
