Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, handling any concerns or issues immediately.
- Complete daily delivery logs, inspection reports, and paperwork accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Achieve and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
