Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling package handovers professionally.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and delivery confirmation forms.
- Route Planning: Plan the most efficient routes to minimize delivery times and fuel costs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use a smartphone or tablet.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a reliable method of transportation to the depot.
