Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Detroit and surrounding areas with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Verify package contents against delivery manifests and obtain digital signatures upon completion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle at all times.
- Practice safe driving habits and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction ratings.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and stacking packages.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and logging.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
