Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial customers within the Detroit metro area.
- Obtain customer signatures and ensure proper handling of all items.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for damage and cleanliness before and after each shift.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile applications to update delivery status in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate complex situations to management.
- Manage returns and manage damaged goods according to company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not strictly required for general delivery roles).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for business use (if applicable to the specific role).
- Access to a smartphone with data capabilities for navigation and scanning.
