Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries to customers using company vehicles
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation for maximum efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle delivery inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Metro Detroit streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
