Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Transport goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner, ensuring all packages are handled with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional, friendly service to customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs and paperwork, including receipts and proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no recent major violations.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact politely with the public.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld devices for GPS navigation and delivery tracking.
