Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods to designated locations throughout Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during the delivery process.
- Inspect vehicles prior to the start and end of each shift for cleanliness and mechanical issues.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan packages and update status in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure zero damage to items.
- Manage time effectively to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle (or company vehicle provided).
- Must have a smartphone compatible with our delivery management app.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
