Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely using proper handling techniques.
- Verify delivery paperwork and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
