Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the New Orleans area.
- Provide excellent customer service by adhering to a professional dress code and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Obtain and verify signatures for all deliveries to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Utilize handheld devices to track routes, manage delivery status, and communicate with dispatch.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and scanning.
- Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
