Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points within the Houston metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are delivered with care and obtaining signatures when required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or damages immediately.
- Manage delivery documentation accurately and utilize handheld devices to update delivery status in real-time.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
- Resolve delivery issues and address customer inquiries courteously and effectively.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic computer proficiency to operate mobile delivery apps and handheld scanners.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude with a focus on service excellence.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
