Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and documents to customers within Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update delivery status in real-time using our mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery time windows
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Smartphone proficiency for using delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
