Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within New Orleans
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and metropolitan area
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling cash tips and deliveries
