Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial delivery points within San Antonio and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Handle package handling with extreme care to prevent damage or loss.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status, capture digital signatures, and route information.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate local San Antonio traffic efficiently.
- Proficient with smartphone technology and delivery management software.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, customer-focused demeanor.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
