Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations within the Columbus metro area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling package exchanges and inquiries with courtesy and efficiency.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any issues immediately.
- Utilize handheld devices and GPS software to navigate optimal delivery routes and track inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using navigation apps and digital proof-of-delivery tools.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
