Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Columbus metropolitan area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Represent Swift Logistics Solutions professionally at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or professional driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area and surrounding communities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
