Responsibilities
- Safe and Timely Delivery: Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Colorado Springs metro area and surrounding regions.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional face-to-face interactions with customers, ensuring every delivery meets our high standards.
- Package Handling: Ensure the proper handling, protection, and organization of all cargo to prevent damage.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Communication: Use company apps to communicate updates to dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Vehicle Access: Reliable, insured personal vehicle (or willingness to drive a company vehicle).
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple routes efficiently.
- Technology: Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and using delivery apps.
- Experience: Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required.
