Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of delivery vehicles throughout the Cleveland metro area.
- Picking up and delivering packages and freight to designated addresses in a timely manner.
- Verifying and recording the quantity, type, and condition of merchandise.
- Providing excellent customer service and handling package handling with care.
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate logbooks.
- Handling cash or electronic transactions for deliveries when applicable.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or valid state driver's license.
- Must possess a clean driving record and good driving history.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for route management and logging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
