Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, food, and goods across Chicago metropolitan area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency and punctuality
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures upon package receipt
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and problem-solving
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with smartphone apps and GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Background check and drug screening clearance required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
