As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in Charlotte and surrounding Georgia areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Load and unload cargo, including the ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to log deliveries and maintain accurate digital records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for paperwork and scanning.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience with delivery apps or logistics software is a plus but not required.
