Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in and around Boston.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks, ensuring items are secure and undamaged.
- Verify delivery orders against invoices and obtain customer signatures upon completion.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or CDL driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Boston, MA area and local traffic patterns.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
