Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in the Boston metro area.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently, ensuring proper handling and placement to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery accuracy, obtain digital signatures, and ensure customer satisfaction at every stop.
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior and exterior, adhering to company appearance standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and PrimeRoute policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, route planning, and electronic logging (ELD).
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficient with smartphone technology for navigation and logging apps.
- Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
