Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across Baltimore metropolitan area
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for efficient delivery using GPS navigation systems
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A/B/C) or clean driving record for 3+ years
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with mobile delivery apps and GPS navigation
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
