Responsibilities
- Safely Transport Goods: Deliver packages and freight to designated locations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Route Management: Plan efficient routes and adhere to delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card payments, and resolve delivery issues courteously.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Load Handling: Safely load and unload merchandise, including the ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
