Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within the Atlanta metro area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize time efficiency
- Verify delivery accuracy through signature collection and photo documentation
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance concerns promptly
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
