Responsibilities
- Transport packages and parcels to residential and commercial locations safely and on time.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and secure.
- Obtain signatures and verify delivery details with customers.
- Interact professionally with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving any delivery issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card, or digital payments and maintain transaction records.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to follow routes and schedules accurately.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
