Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
- Verify package details upon pickup and delivery, ensuring accuracy and handling with care
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, including resolving delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using digital systems
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
