Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently using pallet jacks and dollies.
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (vans and box trucks) on designated routes.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time, adhering to the schedule provided.
- Interact professionally with clients, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Accurately complete delivery logs and electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) documentation.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fuel-efficient.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Strong knowledge of the Atlanta metropolitan area, streets, and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer proficiency for using handheld devices and email.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
