Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages and freight to designated addresses in Jacksonville, FL, and NC.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring packages are delivered with care and in a timely manner.
- Perform daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, paperwork, and digital proof of delivery.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major traffic violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Jacksonville and North Carolina geography.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to punctuality.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
