Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to residential and commercial locations in and around San Antonio.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks) ensuring safety and minimizing damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
- Inspect the vehicle daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any necessary repairs immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and timesheets.
- Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
