Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Deliveries: Transport packages to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS and route planning software to optimize delivery paths and minimize fuel consumption.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of delivery information, including signatures and delivery statuses, using handheld devices.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally and courteously with customers to resolve any delivery issues or queries.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technology: Reliable smartphone with a data plan and the ability to learn new mobile applications quickly.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Experience: Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
