Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated addresses in the Baltimore area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and the public.
- Provide exceptional customer service by following proper delivery protocols and handling packages with care.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Accurately log delivery information using handheld delivery management devices.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and delivery management apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must have reliable personal transportation for getting to and from work.
- Local knowledge of Baltimore streets, traffic patterns, and neighborhoods is highly preferred.
