Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and business addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery exceptions.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after routes.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation and electronic proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company vehicle.
- Familiarity with the Washington, DC area geography is highly preferred.
- Basic computer skills for logging data.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
