Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Virginia Beach and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals
- Verify delivery details, collect signatures, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments at distribution centers and delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Previous delivery or logistics experience highly desirable
