Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking for route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle payment transactions
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and update ETAs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during transit
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
