Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local and regional routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Provide exceptional customer service at client sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area and Northeast corridors
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
