Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading packages using proper equipment
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metropolitan area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
