Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, and goods to designated locations throughout NYC
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for urgent deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
