Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery inquiries or issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets and routes.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
