Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely to deliver packages, food, and supplies to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle cash transactions when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse and delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area and surrounding communities
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
- Background check and drug screen required
